In Sheboygan, a woman bought a home in 1999 and soon discovered that someone else was living in the house with her. The woman explained that whenever she entered the home, she would feel a clammy and frigid feeling around her neck and shoulders. Whenever she put a picture or something on the walls, it just would not stay in place. Upon talking to the first floor tenants, she learned an amazing discovery.

The downstairs neighbors informed her that is was Jamie who was living in the upstairs apartment with her. It was said that Jamie died in the garage while working on a car and the death remained suspicious. The woman then did a little research and found that the owners of her building also owned the building next door and one down the block.

Miss Doutillier decided that she would talk to the spirit. She actually set the spirit straight by informing it that she owned the house and was going to fix it up and live in the house and that was that. She said that after that, she really did not have too many problems. However, she could not help wondering. She decided to buy the building next door in 2005. She thought that maybe the same thing could have been happening in that building as well.

Miss Doutillier contacted the Great Lakes Area Spirit Society to come to her home and see what they could find out. The group is made up of skeptics and believers to give a true evaluation of the paranormal happening. They use scientific methods to see if there is indeed a haunting or a spirit present. By using an electromagnetic field meter, they are able to sense any electronic impulses. The video equipment they had set up showed nothing, but the audio had a different story to tell.

Although nothing was heard by anyone in the room, the audio recording heard a voice say yes to the question if anything had happened in the garage. They heard other sounds as well. They do not tell you that your house or building is haunted. They present the evidence to the person and let them draw their own conclusions. The audio recording can speak for itself. The voice was not any of the people in the room, so was a spirit visiting the building? The answer could be yes in this case.

It is very possible and more than likely that she does have a spirit in the home and garage that watches over the place. It is not a harmful spirit, but might have its own way of living and that is why it does not want her to put up pictures or hang things on the walls. The guest is not trying to make her leave it seems, only wants her to do what they want.

This is just one of the many stories that are told throughout Wisconsin. The state is said to have more paranormal and unexplained happenings than any other state in the United States. Sheboygan County has more unexplained happenings, but some are not even documented.

, but the truth is that paranormal occurrences do happen and some are never reasoned with or solved.
