EmailYoung children have some unexplained paranormal experiences. Why is it that ghosts feel more comfortable appearing to children? Could it be that children are young and unsuspecting? Could it be because children are innocent and do not have the fear that most adults do? Trying to explain why ghosts show themselves to children will always be a mystery. The only explanation is that children are young and trusting. Although some ghosts are cruel, most ghosts that visit children are passive. There is one example of a ghost visit to a child is still unexplainable, but it is amazing.
A young girl was the apple of her grandmother's eye. They were very close and always did things together. The grandmother took ill and was hospitalized. The little girl's mother thought it would be a bad idea for the young girl to see her grandmother in the state she was in at the hospital and would not allow her to see her grandmother. What happened next took days for the family to realize. Then everyone had to wonder about grandmother and her death.
On the morning that the grandmother died at 5 AM, the little girl was awaken out of a sleep by a ghostly figure at the end of her bed. The figure was extending a arm out to the her for her to come to her. The little girl thought the figure was her mother and kept saying, "Mommy." When her mother would not answer her, the little girl started calling her mother louder and louder.
Her mother awoke and heard the young girl calling out and ran to her room. The mother sat down on the child's bed after she asked her why she would not answer her while standing at the end of her bed. The mom assured her that she was not at the end of the bed. All was forgotten until a phone call came later that morning saying that grandmother had died. She had died at 5 AM. The mother then remembered that the time was exactly when the young girl saw someone standing at the end of her bed reaching out to her.
Was it the grandmother trying to say good-bye to her granddaughter, whom she was so close to? Did the grandmother need to say good-bye before leaving this world? The paranormal is one that will never be understood, but when you think about what is seen and when things are seen by little kids, one must wonder why ghost choose little children to visit.
Did this little girl see her grandmother's ghost or did she have a bad dream because she could not see her grandmother? It was dark in the bedroom, so it could have been her grandmother or it could have been anyone. Chances are it was the grandmother wanting to see her granddaughter. Paranormal experiences will always continue. Children should be believed when they say they saw something. Not all children are dreaming or having a nightmare. They are experience something that most people do not want to talk about.
